Internet the MOTHERLOAD for businesses.

Today the marketing rules are changing and very quickly. Old rules just don't seem to apply. Print is rapidly loosing it appeal, cable has become more segmented and can be expensive and even radio is holding less and less of the market as Pandora and other streaming music sites out compete them showing up on computers and even cell phones.
Many businesses have seen these changes and are unsure of how to create a succesful internet marketing campaign. It is most certainly not just a fancy website as the .com crash demonstrated. One of the biggest new movement is social media marketing. User (cunsumer) generated information about a product. Something that has a genuine voice and is personal is what really sells. Well then the question is how do we do that? How can we make are stuff sound really personal and relevant to each of our customers and the answer is good news. While the internet has increased the amount of competition it also offers you a near infinite amount of information about your customers and even about each customer directly. You want to get a loyal customer let them talk to you. remember those restaraunts where the owner was really nice and gneuinly concerned with you having a good meal and a great family your in the know atmosphere. Rememebr how much you love that place? Well that what you can creat by letting you cusomers talk to you easily ona blog or on twitter or even on facebook. and as the internet gets more and more intuitive as amazon pick items you may like and google sorts yours search we can get more and more predictive abougt what the consumer wants. And the truth is that is what the business is about. So dont fear the change embrace it. The businesses that are going to make it out of this recession are going to create new tactics and shoot ahead in this new climate. This market is growing daily and access is getting ever easier you can no longer ignore it or you risk being forgotten.
